The Young Professional – The Look For Less
It seems we can't find what you're looking for. Perhaps searching can help.
Happy Friday! I swapped out the pine cones for some monstera leaves this week and with all the sun coming in lately it’s finally starting to feel like spring (at least inside it is...). I still haven’t swapped out my hardware & faucet because I’ve been too busy designing other people’s kitchens.
Since we can’t go out to do anything fun - I thought I’d share some photos from when we could.
It was one of those Sundays where I had planned to relax all day but instead went on a cleaning spree which I suppose is equally therapeutic. At least now I have a fresh start for the new week with a deep cleaned bathroom.
Happy Saturday everyone! It’s shockingly sunny and warm for a mid-January morning and I couldn’t be happier about it. I’m sure I’ll be angry about it come April when it will be -20 and snowing though..
Not sure if it’s the lockdown or just normal January boredom, but I’ve wanted to do nothing but nap all weekend. Anyone else feeling the same?
Took one last photo this morning because these halls are officially undecked now. Part of me gets sad when it comes time to put the Christmas decor away but part of me gets so excited for a clean & fresh space for the new year.
2020... what a year. Though there was a lot of bad, some parts of 2020 were actually amazing. We all got to spend more time at home with our dogs. If the world didn’t stop for quarantine, I don’t know if I ever would have taken that much needed break on my own. That break made me think about what I wanted from life and in turn I changed jobs and have a lot more flexibility (and a lot less stress) now. I became an aunt for the first time (and have a lot of friends who also became moms for the first time too). I probably spent more time on Zoom with friends this year than I did seeing people in person over the last few years.
It’s that time of year when I can’t decide if I want to take down all the Christmas decorations and go into the new year with a fresh slate or leave them up for the warmth they bring to my otherwise minimal home.
XXXIII. Joining the quarantine birthday club and commemorating the day with a selfie like I usually do. Planning to spend the day in lounge wear, rewatch The Hobbit series, drink some wine & order some dinner in from a local restaurant which actually sounds pretty perfect to me.
